solo flight

Never thought these very words would bear such monumental meaning to me - literally!

And because I am all for the dare and the challenge, I took the solo flight bound to Singapore last Saturday, May 11, 2013. Along with my hand carry bag, ever reliable hoodie jacket, a stroller and 1 18kg box filled with pasalubong, I boarded the plane with anxiety and excitement.

So, here's the only shot I had for that day.

Unfortunately,I was not able to squeeze in a last minute OOTD pose. But basically, I wore my nude cami top and studded black pantsuit from Forever 21 and my newly purchased camel toned strappys from Parisian. I donned some turquoise beads for some flava. I was supposed to go the "backpacker" look (the usual washed out shorts and shirt, and strappy sandals and a back pack to complete the whole thing) but then my brother wanted me to look ALL PROPER. Okay. hehehe!

So, after the not so chillaxed flight for almost 3hours, I've unboarded the plane,  chatted with an  Immigration Officer,  spotted a trolley, grabbed my things, and headed out while my brother took snapshots of her sister's first international trip. LOL. Gotta say,  flying out on your own is truly a milestone that  must be celebrated. Mine may have been years delayed but hey! Learning is a never ending process. So yeah... I am all geared up for what's next to come!
